Ways to pay
Nassar is a contractor, not a lender. These are the ways to pay for the work: PACE financing, home-equity and renovation mortgages, a project loan with no lien on the home, a state grant, and payment by milestone. Each one is explained below, with what it costs.
PACE financing
PACE can pay for eligible work such as windows, doors, A/C, storm protection and repairs, including impact doors and windows and wind- and energy-related work. Up to the whole project is financed against the property and repaid on your property-tax bill over a long term. Approval rests on the equity in your home and your record of paying, not on a credit score.
It fits an owner of a home in a county that has opted in, who wants to pay over time without a personal loan.
The cost: a lien on the home that comes ahead of your mortgage, usually paid off when you sell or refinance, and a higher rate than home-equity borrowing. The county must also have opted in.
Interest and fees are charged. We do not quote rates, fees or payments. The program quotes your rate and fees before you sign.
PACE through Florida PACE Funding Agency is available in Broward County and in participating cities of Miami-Dade County and Palm Beach County. Elsewhere, including the West Coast, ask us, and we will tell you what is open for your address.
County availability is the agency's own, read from its service map on 2026-10-22. Florida law requires local approval before PACE is offered, so it can change.
Florida PACE Funding Agency
Florida PACE Funding Agency is a public agency created under Florida law. Private administrators, FortiFi and Home Run Financing, run its residential program; you do not apply to them separately.
How it works, in the agency's terms
- There is no credit score requirement. Approval is based on the equity in your home and your record of paying for it.
- Your property taxes must be paid and not late for the past three years, your mortgage must be current with no notice of default in the past three years, and there can be no involuntary liens on the home.
- It can finance the whole eligible cost of the work.
- You pay it back in fixed payments on your property-tax bill.
- The agency pays us after the work is inspected and you sign off on it.
- The agency says there is no penalty for paying a residential assessment off early. Ask for a payoff quote, because a processing fee may apply.
Ygrene
Ygrene is a private company that offers PACE financing.
How it works, in Ygrene's terms
- Approval is based mainly on the equity in your home and your record of paying the mortgage and property taxes, not on your credit score alone.
- Terms run up to 20 years at a fixed rate, depending on the work.
- You pay it back as a line on your property-tax bill. If your mortgage company pays your taxes from escrow, it collects the payment with them.
- Ygrene says a decision usually takes 30 minutes or less.
- Ygrene pays us only after you sign off that the work is finished to your satisfaction.
- There is no penalty for paying it off early.
Whether Ygrene serves your address depends on its county and city. Check Ygrene's service map, or ask us.
Whether your home qualifies depends on its address, so check it with the program.
Applying for PACE
You apply directly with the program and list Nassar Construction Group as your contractor. We'll walk through the application with you at your appointment, or you can apply on your own.
Home equity and renovation mortgages
A home-equity line of credit (HELOC), a cash-out refinance, or a renovation mortgage. Fannie Mae HomeStyle and FHA 203(k) loans fund an addition, remodel or rebuild on the home's value after the improvement. We work with lending partners; ask us and we will connect you.
It fits a larger project, or an owner who would rather borrow against the equity in the home.
The cost: closing costs and interest set by the lender, and the home secures the loan.
You apply directly with the lender. Nassar Construction Group is not paid for the introduction.
Nassar Construction Group is a contractor, not a lender; every application is made directly with the lender, and Nassar is not paid for a referral.
A project loan with no lien
A project loan with no lien on the home, for projects up to $25,000, through Wisetack. Approval takes minutes, and you can apply from your phone.
It fits a smaller or mid-sized job where you would rather not put a lien on the home.
The cost: it is a loan, so interest and fees apply, and the lender quotes yours before you accept.
You apply directly with Wisetack. We will walk through it with you at your appointment.
My Safe Florida Home
A state grant of up to $10,000 toward impact windows and doors, garage doors and other wind-resistance work, when funding is open. Most homeowners match part of the cost.
It fits a Florida homeowner hardening a home against wind.
The cost: you pay your share of the work, and the grant depends on the state's funding at the time you apply.
You apply on the state's site and hire a licensed contractor.
If insurance is involved
If a claim is involved, we document the damage in full and you decide.
It fits water, fire and wind damage.
The cost is the work itself, less whatever your insurer pays.
You file the claim with your insurer. We provide the documentation.
Milestone billing
Billing follows the work: a deposit, then payments at the stages your contract names.
It fits any job.
The cost is the contract price, with no financing charge.
The stages and amounts are written in your contract before you sign.
What you should know before you sign
PACE is a voluntary property-tax assessment, not a personal loan. It puts a lien on your home, and that lien comes before your mortgage.
An assessment that goes unpaid is collected like unpaid property tax, and the home can go into tax-lien proceedings.
Your mortgage lender may have its own requirements, its consent may be needed, and a PACE assessment can delay a refinance.
In most cases it has to be paid off when you sell the home, and you must tell a buyer about it.
Florida's PACE law gives you three business days to cancel, requires a recorded confirmation call that we may not take part in, and requires two unaffiliated quotes on larger projects.
PACE is not a grant: you pay back the cost of the work, with interest and fees. Florida PACE Funding Agency is a public agency whose residential program is run by private administrators.
Ygrene is a private company.
Read the financing agreement in full before you sign, and ask your lender or an attorney about anything in it that is unclear.
Our quote request never asks about your income, your credit or your mortgage. Anything financial goes to the program you choose, not to us.
